Advice
A horizontal cord is easy to grow, provided that the rules for growing are followed correctly. In the first few years, many back shoots will develop, which must be pruned away well (with a flat cut).
This espalier form is already very productive at a young age.
The disadvantage is the usually relatively short lifespan of the tree.
