Baseline measurement of espalier fruit
Goal
- Inventory the current condition of the espalier fruit trees.
- Indirectly, this gives an impression of the level of knowledge of the gardeners about the care of espalier fruit.
Context
Baseline Measurement of Trained Fruit is applicable if:
- the espalier fruit wall is (partly) overgrown with old espalier fruit trees
- the espalier fruit wall is (partly) overgrown with new plantings of espalier fruit trees
Method
During a Baseline Measurement Espalier visits your location and walks along the espalier fruit together with the plot owner. Espalier assesses the status of the espalier fruit trees. And gives independent advice to improve the care of the espalier fruit in the coming years.
Result
Afterwards you will receive a short report with findings.
You can include this in a plan for the restoration of the wall, redesign of the garden, master plan for the location as a whole, etc.

A baseline measurement can be repeated after several years.
