Description

The twin palmet is an artistic duo tree .

The espalier shape looks simple, but is a complex palm shape . The twin palm tree requires a thorough cultivation in order to be able to maintain its shape in the long term.
The inner frame branches (heart branches) have a strong tendency to grow, while the outer frame branches are inhibited in growth by the curvature. This makes it twice as difficult to distribute growth and fruit bearing evenly and durably over the espalier.

Advice

Difficult to propagate. The maintenance of an adult tree is difficult and largely dependent on the (thorough) cultivation.
