Description
A form of a double cord . Two frame branches grow horizontally at a height of approx. 35 cm (knee height) along a metal tension wire. Both ends are fixed diagonally upwards to prevent the end from withering away.

Specific Applications
The two-armed cord has the same applications as the one-armed cord:
- Suitable alternative for a low (boxwood) hedge.
- Nice as a border for paths and flowerbeds in a vegetable garden, ornamental garden or cottage garden.
- Also often used as a low permanent espalier in front of a fruit wall with high upright espalier trees. One to a few meters distance was kept between the two espalier rows.
Advice
A two-arm cord is easy to grow and maintain. Good productive. Often wider (longer) than a one-armed cord.
